Nutricircle Review UK: Is It Legit? Short-Dated Deals Explained

Quick answer

Yes. Nutricircle is a legitimate UK surplus retailer owned by Huddled Group plc. It is most useful for buying familiar products cheaply when the delivered unit price is competitive and you can finish the pack; skip a deal when the date is unclear, the packaging is compromised or the bulk quantity is likely to be wasted.

01

The verdict

Nutricircle is strongest for branded bars, drinks, foods and supplements you already know you will use. Clearance prices can be genuinely low, but a large case with little useful life left can still be poor value.

Before checkout, divide the case price by the number of items, add delivery, and check the exact best-before information on the product page. Use the ProteinDeals Sale comparison to compare the current price with the supplied original price, or browse Nutricircle's complete tracked catalogue.

02

Is Nutricircle legit?

Yes. Nutricircle is owned and operated by Huddled Group plc, a UK-listed company that announced its acquisition of the retailer in April 2024. That establishes who is behind the shop; it does not guarantee that every clearance item suits every buyer. Check the condition, date and quantity on the exact listing you intend to order.

What customers say about Nutricircle

Trustpilot

Trustpilot snapshot checked 14 September 2026

Nutricircle held a 4.8 out of 5 TrustScore from 7,391 reviews when checked on 14 September 2026. Its review summary and recent entries repeatedly highlight low prices, quick delivery and products arriving as described. A smaller number mention delayed deliveries, missing items or transit problems.

Read the newest reviews and lowest ratings on Trustpilot before ordering, particularly if timing matters or you are buying a large case.

04

Nutricircle delivery costs

Nutricircle delivery costs infographic comparing Royal Mail Tracked 48 and Tracked 24 prices below and above a £40 basket

Nutricircle's published UK delivery terms currently make basket size important. Royal Mail Tracked 48 costs £4.99 below £40 and is free from £40. Tracked 24 costs £6.99 below £40 or £1.99 from £40.

A £4.99 delivery charge doubles the landed cost of a £4.99 supplement. Combining products can protect the saving, but only if the extra stock will be used. Compare the delivered basket total, not just each green sale price.

05

Best before is not the same as use by

The distinction matters. The Food Standards Agency says a best-before date concerns quality, while a use-by date concerns safety. Food past its best-before date may lose flavour, texture or freshness without automatically becoming unsafe; food should not be eaten after a use-by date.

Nutricircle says it sells ambient products and may list stock past its best-before date. It also says product pages carry the best-before information, with especially short dates often repeated in the title. Check the individual page every time rather than assuming the whole case has a comfortable window.

Do not treat damaged packaging, a broken seal, poor storage or a recall as a date-label question. Those are separate reasons not to use a product.

These are recorded selling prices versus Nutricircle's supplied original prices when ProteinDeals scraped the collection on 14 September 2026. The percentage is arithmetic, not a permanent promise; price, stock and date information can change.

07

What those prices mean per item

Our best protein-focused pick from this snapshot is the Myprotein HYROX Refuel bar case, provided you are comfortable buying stock marked best before 31 July 2026. At £9.99 for 12 bars versus a supplied original price of £26.99, it costs about 83p per bar and carries a 63% calculated reduction. Nutricircle's current feed does not provide enough consistent nutrition data to rank these offers honestly by cost per 25g protein.

The SiS case works out at about 40p per gel, the Myprotein HYROX case at about 83p per bar, and the Nutramino case at about 83p per bottle. Those unit prices make the deal easier to judge than a red 58–73% badge.

The same rule applies across ProteinDeals. Compare capsules with capsules of a similar strength and count; compare bars and drinks by unit; compare powders by serving or usable protein rather than bag price alone. The £4.99 USN ashwagandha pack is cheaper at checkout than many ashwagandha listings in our catalogue, but different extracts, doses and pack counts are not interchangeable.

For protein powder, use How to Buy Cheap Protein Powder UK: 10 Value Checks. It explains why cost per 25g protein is more useful than the largest percentage badge.

08

When a short-dated case is genuinely good value

  1. 1

You already use the exact product. Familiar flavour and tolerance reduce the chance of waste.

  2. 2

The quantity fits your routine. Fifteen gels are sensible before a block of long sessions; a case bought without a plan is clutter.

  3. 3

The unit price beats a normal alternative. Divide the case price before reacting to the headline percentage.

  4. 4

The best-before date is acceptable to you. Decide with the actual date from the product page, not the word ‘clearance’.

  5. 5

Delivery does not erase the saving. Compare the final basket, particularly on a small order.

09

Who should skip Nutricircle?

  1. 1

Skip it if you are uncomfortable buying food or supplements close to or beyond a best-before date.

  2. 2

Skip large cases when you have not already tried the flavour or formulation.

  3. 3

Choose a conventional retailer when you need consistent restocking of the same product and size.

  4. 4

Do not buy a use-by product after its date; Nutricircle says its model is based on ambient best-before stock, but the individual label remains decisive.

  5. 5

Avoid any delivered item with a broken seal, damaged inner packaging or signs of poor storage, regardless of the discount.

10

What to check before ordering

Read the complete product title and page, confirm whether the date has already passed, and check that every unit in a case is the flavour and format you expect. Photograph damaged outer packaging on arrival and inspect individual seals before use.

Treat supplements like any other formulation comparison. A discounted branded capsule is not automatically equivalent to a KSM-66 extract, a gummy or a powder. Strength, serving count and ingredients can outweigh a lower checkout price.

The practical verdict is simple: Nutricircle can undercut ordinary retail prices sharply because it asks you to accept less remaining shelf life. Buy the product, quantity and date—not the percentage badge.

Frequently asked questions

Is Nutricircle legit?+

Yes. Nutricircle is a UK surplus retailer operated by Huddled Group. Check the date, condition notes and delivery terms on the individual product page before buying.

Does Nutricircle sell expired products?+

Nutricircle says some products may be past their best-before date. Best-before concerns quality, not safety; this is different from a use-by date. Check the exact product page and never consume food after its use-by date.

Why are Nutricircle products so cheap?+

Nutricircle specialises in surplus stock, including overproduction, packaging changes and short-dated or past-best-before products. The reduced shelf-life and changing availability can support much lower prices.

How much is Nutricircle delivery?+

When checked on 14 September 2026, Royal Mail Tracked 48 was £4.99 below £40 and free from £40. Tracked 24 was £6.99 below £40 and £1.99 from £40. Confirm the current terms before ordering.

Are Nutricircle's biggest percentage discounts always the best deals?+

No. Compare the final unit, serving or protein cost with relevant alternatives. A large case or unsuitable formulation can still be poor value even when its reduction is genuine.
