The Protein Works Black Friday 2026: Offers to Watch For

Most retailers save their biggest badges for a few headline products. Across the 18 Protein Works offers we traced from 2022 to 2025, advertised discounts ranged from 45% to 69%, averaging 58%.

That tells you something useful. When nearly everything is around half off, the percentage stops separating good offers from ordinary ones. The question becomes what you pay per kilo, per bar or per serving, and that depends on details the badges leave out.

Vegan Protein shows the size effect clearly. On Black Friday 2025, all four bag sizes were 64% to 69% off, and the price per kilo fell with every step up in size.

Two things to check before buying the big bag. Vegan blends and whey can carry different amounts of protein per 100g, so compare labels, or use The Protein Works comparison, which ranks by cost per 25g of protein. And 4kg is a lot of one flavour; a 500g bag is a cheaper way to find one you like first.

Across five Whey Protein 80 offers from 2022 and 2023, discounts ran from 45% to 67% and the price per kilo from £13.99 to £25.00.

Later listings for Diet Whey Protein Isolate 90 and Whey Protein 360 gave no pack size, so they cannot be priced per kilo. This November, find the weight before comparing anything.

Bar boxes have come in at 45% to 50% off. Like any extra, a box is only a saving if you would have bought it anyway.

Clear Diet Whey has been 48% to 54% off, though not every listing gave a pack size. Check the weight before comparing it with Myprotein's Clear Whey.

In 2024, The Standard reported an extra 12% code on top of the sale, excluding bundles and gift vouchers. What it could not say was whether the prices shown already included it. That makes a real difference to the isolate offer.

The fix is simple: enter the code and read the basket total, rather than taking 12% off in your head. If you subscribe for a lower price, check what the next delivery costs and when it lands.

Whey Protein 80's past discounts averaged 55%. Repeated this year, that would take a 1kg bag from today's £31.99 to about £14.40.

Treat it as a yardstick, not a forecast: today's price is from our catalogue on 4 October 2026, and past discounts were measured from 'was' prices. Vegan protein is not projected, because the 2026 range is sold under new names. Check The Protein Works comparison for the latest prices.

The Black Friday price is not always the lowest you can pay. Before checking out, run through these five.

1. 1

Voucher codes. The Protein Works has paired past sales with an extra code. Enter each code you find and compare the basket totals, rather than trusting the banner.

2. 2

Discounts for who you are. Blue Light Card lists an extra 12% off sale and full-price items for verified members, with no minimum spend. Student Beans lists student offers such as £15 off a £60 order, though those cannot be combined with other codes.

3. 3

A different retailer. Some Protein Works products also sell on Amazon and eBay, where the price can differ from the brand's own site. Our Protein Works comparison and product pages show those listings where we track them.

4. 4

Clearance and short-dated stock. Clearance and short-dated stock can undercut a Black Friday code. Our sales page tracks clearance deals; check the best-before date before you buy.

5. 5

Subscriptions. The Protein Works' On Tap subscription discounts eligible products for the first three orders, with a potentially different discount from order four. Compare the delivered subscription total with the best one-off code and choose an interval that suits how quickly you finish a bag. You can skip or cancel before the next order is processed.

Black Friday is 27 November 2026. Past Protein Works sales have run well past the Friday: in 2025, its Black Friday sale ran from 26 November to Cyber Monday, 1 December, and in 2024 offers were still live on Cyber Monday. This year's offers have not been announced. Choose the range and flavour you actually drink, note today's price per kilo, and compare against that during sale week.

If the sale price still looks high, check the equivalent Myprotein and Bulk packs before adding anything else to the basket.
