Vilgain Nutritional Yeast – vegan seasoning with B vitamins and a parmesan‑like flavor
Thanks to nutritional yeast, your food will gain a mildly nutty to cheesy flavor and a load of micronutrients. It is produced using yeast grown on a sugar‑rich substrate. The mixture is then dried and gently heated to 45 °C. This yeast cannot be used for leavening, only as a seasoning.
Plant‑based alternative to cheese
You can use it anywhere you would normally reach for regular cheese – nutritional yeast is used to make vegan parmesan, and is added to sauces, spreads, soups, salads, pasta, risottos, vegan cheeses, etc. In flake form, it resembles grated cheese in appearance and is easy to use as a topping for finished dishes, which has made this form popular not only among the vegan community.
