Description
Vilgain Flax Seeds – seeds with a high content of omega‑3 and other beneficial substances
Vilgain Flax Seeds are highly valued by the body, primarily due to their high content of omega‑3 fatty acids, which are typically found mainly in fish. Alpha‑linolenic acid, a natural component of omega‑3, contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels when at least 2 g per day (about 10 g of seeds) are consumed.
A source of vitamins and a great way to support digestion
But flax seeds have much more to offer. For example, they contain a large amount of soluble and insoluble fibre, which stimulates and supports the proliferation of healthy bacteria in the digestive tract, thereby supporting the gut microbiome and nutrient absorption. This fibre also includes so‑called lignans, which are known for their antioxidant properties. In addition, the seeds contain minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, and potassium.
In porridge or salad
To make the most of all the benefits of flax seeds, they should be consumed crushed, ground, or thoroughly chewed so that all the beneficial substances are well absorbed in the digestive tract. You can eat them raw or use them to enrich muesli, porridge, salads, yogurts, pancakes, dough, or simply any dish to which you want to add extra health benefits.

Vilgain Golden Flax Seeds – a universal classic for both sweet and savoury dishes 🌱
Flax seeds stand out with their delicate buttery-nutty flavour. Thanks to their versatility, you can easily enrich your breakfast, smoothie, or homemade baked goods with fibre and unsaturated fats.
One ingredient, nothing unnecessary
Inside the package, you'll find just a single ingredient. Raw seeds without flavourings or other added ingredients. For better absorption, we recommend grinding them before consumption. Ideally, only grind the portion you need at the moment, as they may gradually lose nutritional potential if stored ground for longer periods.
From morning porridge to homemade bread 🥣🥖
Add them to yoghurt or your breakfast bowl, blend into a smoothie, or work into dough. The mild flavour easily combines with other ingredients, so they can be used in both sweet and savoury recipes.
