Psyllium husks are naturally high in fibre and act like a sponge when mixed with fluid, absorbing more than twenty times their weight, whilst inulin is a water soluble fibre and a natural carbohydrate. Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum are two bacterial cultures included to help maintain the balance of bacteria within the intestinal tract.
