THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE PRODUCT
Collagen and Vitamin C Powder is typically mixed with water, which makes it feel like a juice, unlike other collagen products such as our marine collagen capsules. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body but naturally declines with age and intense physical activity. Vitamin C is essential in this process, because it acts as a cofactor for collagen production due to the enzymes that drive the synthesis of collagen in the body.
THE EXPERT'S OPINION
"Vitamin C (VitC) plays a critical role in the maintenance of a normal mature collagen network in humans." — National Library of Medicine
